Oumar Diallo is a recognized specialist in international regulatory affairs, with more than fifteen years of experience working with decision-makers in financial circles, international organizations, and government institutions. His expertise spans financial technology regulation, risk management, compliance, governance, government and international relations, as well as project and team management. He has held strategic responsibilities both in the public (including at the Quebec Financial Markets Authority [AMF] and the City of Montreal) and private sectors (via roles within “Big Four” firms, as well as corporate functions in large companies).
An experienced board director, he has served on the board of the Montreal Port Authority. His civic and professional leadership has been acknowledged through several distinctions, including his selection to the prestigious Millennium Fellowship of the Atlantic Council in Washington, D.C.
Oumar Diallo holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Montreal, a postgraduate certificate from the Diplomatische Akademie Wien – Vienna School of International Studies, and an MPA from the École nationale d’administration (ÉNA) of France. He is also a graduate of the Collège des administrateurs de sociétés and holds the dual designation of ASC, and Chartered Director (C.Dir.) from the Directors College of the DeGroote School of Business at McMaster University. He is fluent in French, English, and German.
