Simon Castonguay has been active in the world of corporate risk for over 20 years, having held strategic positions and decision-making responsibilities within global consulting firms, in North America and Europe. Over the years, he has positioned himself as a key business partner for his clients and colleagues, structuring innovative solutions at the intersection of risk management, finance, corporate strategy and talent management. His clients are government entities as well as large corporations (Fortune 1000), in particular in the financial, telecommunications and energy sectors.
Simon Castonguay is a member of Quebec’s Order of Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA), the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA) and Investigative and Forensic Accountant (IFA). In addition to holding a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Specialized Graduate Diploma in Public Accounting from HEC Montreal, he holds a Minor in Law from the University of Montreal. He teaches a course load that he developed at the University of Toronto as part of the Master of Forensic Accounting program, from which he holds a Graduate Degree.
Simon Castonguay is Treasurer of Downtown Montreal’s Commercial Development Society and Director of the Management Council of Quebec’s Parental Insurance Plan, where he chairs the Audit Committee.
