Roger Karam is a strategic advisor, board member and investor with 25 years of leadership experience, primarily across private equity, real estate, construction, infrastructure, agri-food, petrochemicals and telecom. He is recognized for combining rigorous financial structuring with hands-on execution, and for building trust-based stakeholder relationships in complex, multi-jurisdiction environments.

As an investment committee member or administrator, Roger Karam has been involved in overseeing approximately USD 2 billion of assets under management, particularly in the MENA region. He has originated and/or managed more than 20 multi-sector private equity transactions, spanning North America, Latin America, Europe, and MENA. He has also led due diligence and value-creation initiatives covering commercial, technical and market assessments. Earlier in his career, as a family entrepreneur he originated and led 50 real estate contracting, development and acquisition projects, notably in the UAE and Lebanon.

His advisory work includes investment design (M&A, JV, partnership), market entry strategy, feasibility studies, financial modeling, support to greenfield/brownfield projects, as well as scaling and execution planning.

Roger Karam holds a BA in Economics and Political Science from McGill University (Canada), and an MBA (Master of Management) specializing in Finance and HRM from EM-Lyon (France). He is a Certified Private Equity Specialist (American Academy of Financial Management). He has supported various causes, including LIFE (Chair, Montreal Committee), Women in Governance, Sainte-Justine and Montreal Children’s Hospitals, and the Duke Cancer Institute (Shingleton Society). He speaks French, English and Arabic.
