Simon Lafrance has been advising, for two decades, all types of clients, all over the world, but particularly in Canada, the United States, the Middle East, and Africa. His analysis, planning, coordination, development, ideation and issue management experience in various sectors of activity have made him a seasoned operative, trusted by leaders. His expertise facing the most complex situations brought him to work with several private companies, associations, public organizations and governments, of all sizes, in various countries, as well as in a National Assembly Office. He is frequently solicited for his expert network, as a guest speaker (on strategy, influence, governance, crisis management, geopolitics and data intelligence) and as a media contributor.
Simon Lafrance has a Master’s Degree in Education from the Quebec Tele-University (TELUQ). He had previously completed a Bachelor’s Degree with Major in Political Science and Minor in Labor Relations from the University of Quebec in Chicoutimi (UQAC), where he now teaches American History and Politics. Since then he was also part of the first Executive Education cohort to complete the program on artificial intelligence strategy at HEC Montreal, in addition to being an entrepreneur-athlete at the Beauce School of Entrepreneurship.
In 2011, Simon Lafrance was received as a Visiting Scholar at University Omar Bongo of Gabon, and is a Fellow of the Washington D.C. Global Leadership Program. In addition to now being an investor as well as a corporate administrator, and to contributing to multiple causes, he is an ambassador of La Ruche and the New World Institute (INM), an Academos mentor and a member of the Capital Network, the Montreal Council on Foreign Relations (CORIM), the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation, the Quebec Environmental Technology Business Council (CETEQ) and the Canada-U.S. Business Council Chicago. After having been Director of Juripop, Relief and Chairman of the Quebec-Americas Agency for Youth for many years, today he sits on the boards of the International Association of Political Consultants (IAPC), the Canadian Council on Africa, the Quebec National Library and Archives Foundation and UQAC (of which he is also Chairman of the Ethics and Professional Conduct Committee, Director of the Foundation and Chairman of the Alumni Association).
